Philosophy of Art Education

Philosophy of Art Education

Without art, there would be no history of civilization. Art has shaped our existence from the beginning of time. Without it, we would know nothing about how humans lived and evolved. To understand art is to understand where we came from, how a culture functions today and where our society is going in the future. Educating students about art is to have them learn all of these things and to understand the athestics, history, and see the possibility of art in everything around them. Art Education can be expanded in all subject matters in a classroom. It gives students the ability to process visual culture in our world. It is the responsibility of teachers and parents to educate students in every way possible.
